Lifetime achievement

Lou Daniel Award

The IIABL Lou Daniel Award is the highest honor that the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Louisiana can bestow upon an individual. Named in memory of Lou Daniel, a long-time IIABL National Director and dedicated leader, this prestigious award recognizes a lifetime of exceptional achievement, unwavering dedication, and significant contributions to IIABL and the Louisiana insurance industry.

Unlike annual awards, the Lou Daniel Award is presented only on rare occasions—reserved for those whose impact has been profound and enduring. Recipients are individuals who have consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing the independent agency system and strengthening the insurance marketplace in Louisiana.

This award serves as a lasting tribute to those whose leadership, integrity, and service reflect the legacy of Lou Daniel and the highest ideals of the insurance profession.
