*Compliant with FIRA §207 Basic Flood Insurance Course as published in the Federal Register,/ Vol. 70, no. 169:9/1/2005; updated through 2015. The three hour CE will provide each participant with an overview of the NFIP policies, flood rating guidelines, claims processing , legislative changes, and information needed to effectively speak flood with their clients. FEMA and State Departments of Insurance have taken various actions over the years to establish training requirements for insurance agents who sell and service flood insurance under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as outlined in Section 207 of the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-264).
